"I'm a political scientist, I majored in american politics and did a PhD in political sciences at MIT in Boston, USA. Now I am a senior research fellow at ASAN institute for policy studies - a private Think thank. I'm dealing with a lot of public opinion, pooling data and also doing research on the Korea and the US relations. The Us is always most popular country among Korean people. After the state visit by the President Trump we are going to conduct a public opinion pool about the korean people feelings about the US, China, Japan and the other countries.I did some opinion pool analysis about the 60% of the Korean people who want to develop our own nuclear weapons... I teach one or two classes per semester, now I'm teaching the media in American politics, and also sometimes I teach the data analysis, in election campaign in Korea and the USA, participation and representation, related to democracy, Mostly I'm doing researches and also writing the policy proposals and evaluation analysis. Just for now I'm in the process of writing a book for my own.,

Rather a men oriented area, social sciences are basically
studying about the human beings and society, and then politics and economy. I think it's really important to have compassion at feeling to the human beings - who are not rational and logical - even if we wanted to look like a rational science. It's really interesting to see about the domestic politics and the cultural things, the social issues like the people attitude toward LGBT issue or the same sex marriage by example. Even if Korea is not a really bad country to live as a sexual minority, unless you do not come out, there is a huge differences across generations. I think Korea is right now in a transitional period, a lot of very talented and gifted women are working. The men are sort of upset by that, so a lot of gender's fights are going on in young generation. But when women get married and then become a mother, they often had to quit their job because of prejudices against working-mums. That's a big problem,we are loosing really qualified women. I think the representation is very important and I really would like more women in the parliamant. I think the fight is ahead for women. We can put laws and regulations in the social institutions, but you have to start from your family, teaching your children to respect equally each person."
