“I liked mathematics and I began to take
more and more of an interest in physics. Thanks to that and a good deal of fantasy, I naturally became involved in the aeronautics sector. There's something fascinating about space, about making an object containing humans fly and sending rockets into orbit! It is very easy to love science, but defying it is much harder, and that is what fed my curiosity.
After two years of preparatory classes at the ESTACA engineering school, I started to develop an interest in the classes on aerospace propulsion. I became more and more drawn towards aeroplanes: how they function, their design, and how to make them more efficient, more environmentally friendly and more economical. During these five years, I had the opportunity to do several fairly long work placements at various companies in the sector, where I discovered all the aspects of an aeronautical engineer's work: management, calculation, design, etc.

The magic word in engineering is pragmatism. It is what helps you progress! I believe that nothing is more important than sharing and taking into account everyone's opinions. The fact that so few young women take up this profession deprives the world of their say on the matter. Their opinions in this field would certainly help accelerate progress. The development of science relies just as much on rigour than it does on diversity.
I plan to lead an independent life. My aim is to feel fulfilled doing what I love, with the people I love and with those who love me. I would like to work on innovative projects in aeronautics, as part of a team that finds solutions to the problems of today and applies them to the aircraft of the future. Working alongside or under the orders of a woman in aeronautical engineering is becoming possible. There is growing interest in the performance of women in this field.”
